The beach was so much fun! We went on Sunday. It was my first time ever really going to the ocean, so I really enjoyed it. It was really beautiful. The water was so salty, and the sun was so hot.

After that we went to Jiufen old street. There I had some taro in ice. It was really good. The place was really nice. I liked it more than the old street in Changhua, but maybe that was because we weren't rushed through it as quickly. There was one part where there was a long stairway with lanterns and shops along the sides. Sasha said that it was used in a Japanese cartoon movie, which is really cool. If I can, I'd like to figure out which movie it was. It's a place I'd really like to see again someday.
